Gas mixers for laser cutting
Witt has introduced a line of gas mixers for use in laser cutting systems. They are designed to handle the high gas pressures required to help ensure high-quality mixtures, the company reports.
The line includes gas mixers with a maximum output of 438 Nm³/hr. and an inlet pressure of up to 40 bar. The gas mixture is generated via a proportional mixing valve, operated either mechanically or electrically depending on the model. Integrated equal-pressure control helps keep the gas supply stable, even with fluctuating inlet pressures.
Depending on the model, the gas mixture can be continuously adjusted via a rotary knob or a touchscreen display, with no special training required. Models with an electric mixing valve also offer remote control options.
