Bystronic has introduced the ByTube Star 130 laser tube cutting system, designed to handle tubes with diameters from 10 to 130 mm up to 8.5 m long. With a loading capacity of up to 17 kg/m, the automated system reduces manual intervention to simplify getting started in tube processing.
Featuring a 2D cutting head, the fiber laser unit is available in 2, 3, or 4 kW. Automatic weld seam detection keeps the weld seam oriented to the desired position. Optional Laserscan independently detects and compensates for geometric deviations of tubes to help ensure accuracy regardless of raw material quality. The Quick Cut option delivers greater speed with an additional linear axis.
The BySoft Cell Control Tube user interface puts control of all functions related to laser tube cutting on a touchscreen so that operators do not need extensive experience to start production.
